Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

April marked my 30 year diagnosis anniversary of Type 1 Diabetes, and so I want to give back to the charity who may be able to increase the chances of developments in treatment, or even comfort to those who live with the condition.

I currently have to inject four times a day, and conduct numerous blood tests to make sure I have control of my levels. I have to balance my sugar levels every day to help me stay alive.

Following misdiagnosis from my Doctor when I was four years old, I am lucky to be alive.  I want to celebrate being a fighter, a survivor and to raise awareness of this complicated condition.

June Jamboree is on Saturday 15th of June, at 8th Scout Headquarters, Edwards Close, Wigmore, near Fairview School, 5pm-10pm, Quiz, Bingo, Raffle, Music, Entertainment for kids, bring drinks, some nibbles provided.  Adults £5, kids FREE!  Contact me for tickets!!

If you cannot attend, but would like to donate to my cause, it would be greatly appreciated!

 Thank you.
