Joshua watched a TV advert 3 years ago about children with cancer. He found it really sad that children lost their hair during treatment and not all got to ring the bell from having the all clear.
He decided that he wanted to do something and that something was to grow his hair and donate it so that another child would feel better.
During the time it has taken Joshua to grow his hair he has received a lot of comments, not all good, from children as well as adults. Leaving his old school and joining a new school as the boy with long hair he had to explain daily that he was in fact a boy and not a girl. He has been called Matilda along with other names which he has just shrugged off bravely as he new he was growing it for a good cause.
Donating his hair is such a remarkable thing for a 9 year old boy to do and if you would like to support Joshua by making a donation he will be over the moon.
We as a family are so proud of our boy
Thanks in advance xx
