To support anyone affected by ectopic pregnancy

Fundraising night - to support anyone affected by ectopic pregnancy · 14 May 2020
On January 17 2020 I underwent emergency surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy.
My right fallopian tube was also removed, as it had ruptured and I was bleeding internally.
It was a terrifying, and heartbreaking, time for both me and my partner, David.
We were so excited to be parents, but it sadly ended so early and so unexpectedly.
We'd like to raise money for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust to help support other parents going through such a difficult time - and to also help fund any research into these types of pregnancies.
An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes. These types of pregnancies cannot survive, and can cause serious injury or death to the mother. In the UK, around 1 in every 90 pregnancies is ectopic. This is around 11,000 pregnancies a year.
I've written more on our story here: https://meganjanearcher.wordpress.com/2020/02/28/january-17-2020/
We were planning to have a charity quiz night to raise money for the EPT on May 14 2020 but this sadly had to be cancelled due to Covid. We’re still looking to host the quiz some time this year at Light House in Wolverhampton - watch this space for more details!
In the meantime anything you can give to this wonderful charity would be so appreciated xxx
