Story
The Keyline Cycle Challenge
Why would we embark on a challenge like this ?
The reasons are clear....
In 2016 one man an hour will have died from prostate cancer in the UK. That’s 10,900 men. 44,000 men will be diagnosed over the next 12 months. Prostate cancer is currently the most common cancer in men, accounting for 25% of all cancer diagnoses overall in the UK.
These facts speak for themselves as to why Keyline are passionate and committed to supporting Prostate Cancer. Please help us not only raise lots of money for research development, patient and survivor support but to raise much needed awareness of Prostate Cancer.
What are we doing ? Over 300 miles over 4 days!
Starting on Wednesday 31st May our team will leave Keyline Dumfries arriving in Keyline Inverness on Saturday 3rd June, cycling over 300 miles...
We have a group of cyclists doing the whole 4 day journey (the crazy ones). As well as others who are joining us for part of the challenge doing either a day or a section of one of the routes. We have Keyline colleagues, our suppliers and our customers all cycling together for a great cause. Every mile cycled and supported by you will make a huge difference to the awareness we can raise and the pennies we can together raise for Prostate Cancer.
Please donate whatever you can and wish us all luck !
****You can text donate to us as well, text DTIC50 with the amount you want to donate. (example DTIC50 £10 to 70070) ****
The plan..
Day 1 - Wednesday 31st May 2017 - Keyline Dumfries to Keyline Broxburn (approx 80 miles)
Day 2 - Thursday 1st June 2017 - Keyline Broxburn to Balloch (approx 70 miles)
Day 3 - Friday 2nd June 2017 - Balloch to Fort William (approx 85 miles)
