Jurassic Plod 2018 · 8 September 2018
We are pleased to announce that the UK Police Memorial Trust has been chosen as the Chief’s Charity for 2018. This is a charitable whole force event to raise money to design, build and maintain a new memorial that will be built at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, recognising officers and staff who have been fatally wounded in the line of duty.
To support this we are organising a ‘Jurassic Plod’ taking place on Saturday 8 September 2018. This is a 10k walk along the Jurassic coastline starting at Lulworth Army Camp, followed by a party and a BBQ for you and your families.
You can take part on your own, with your loved ones or with colleagues uniting your team. But it doesn't end there... if you wish to support this charity there are many ways to do so.
You can simply donate by clicking the donate tab at the top of the page or why not hold your own event, a bake sale for example, and donate the proceeds here.
However you choose to show your support, this is an opportunity to raise money for such a poignant tribute to fallen colleagues.
