Story
Redwalls are participating in National Donut Week to raise money for The Childrens Trust.
The Children's Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury, supporting thousands of children and their families across the country every year.
For those who don’t know my younger brother Rafi suffered an acquired brain injury when he was 11 years old. He spent time staying at their brain rehabilitation centre in London where he received specialist help. Thanks to The Childrens Trust my mum was able to live on site with my brother which was crucial to his well-being and recovery. As a family we continue to fundraise for the people that supported us in our time of need and hope to help many other families. Rafi will hopefully be coming in to help us sell donuts on the day to show his support for this amazing charity!
We are going to be setting up a stall outside the home on Weaverham Road. Morrisons are keen to be involved so are supplying us with the donuts and volunteering on the day. Residents that are interested will be helping me throughout the day. We are taking extra precautions to make ensure everything is COVID safe.
Any donations would be appreciated and you are all welcome to stop by for a donut! (or two)
Thanks
Jodie
