Steve Boylan is a Veteran WO2 (QMSI) of the Royal Engineers and has had a difficult few years. He is currently a resident at Care for Veterans located in Worthing, West Sussex, England.
After recovering from a cancer, then receiving a brain injury after a motor bike accident he is on a long and intensive rehabilitation programme. He is however now able to use a static cycle to help build strength in his legs and help get him fit.
He set himself a challenge to cycle the 874 mile distance from John O'Groats to Lands End. This challenge would not be easy to complete, however he has and is hoping to raise funds for Care for Veterans (C4V) and the Royal Engineers Association (REA).
He would like as many supporters as possible, to rally behind him and help him to complete both the Worthing 10 Km run and the 874 mile cycle and raise his target of £1748.00 or more. He would like to split any funds raised between C4V and the REA. Two separate just giving pages have been set up to try and achieve this.
Any support would be greatly appreciated.
