Cystic Fibrosis Karting GP Returns for 2019.

The Cystic Fibrosis Karting Grand Prix is returning on Sunday the 2nd of June at Red Lodge Karting, near Newmarket for its third consecutive year of raising vital funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and this year has seen major prizes on offer including a raffle prize of 2x VIP Tickets to Silverstone for the British Touring Car Championship on Sunday the 29th of September courtesy of Adrian Flux Insurance. The winner will chose to be a guest of either the Adrian Flux Subaru Team, with their drivers Ashley Sutton & Senna Proctor, or the Sterling Insurance Power Maxed Vauxhall Team with drivers Jason Plato & Rob Collard. Additional prizes for the top 3 scoring drivers of the day sees as follows,
Winner: A test day with British Karting Championship Team TW Motorsport, in a fully equipped race kart. Prize courtesy of Tru-Tension www.tru-tension.co.uk
2nd Place : A 30 minute test session with Club 100 Evo, the UK’S premier arrive & drive 2 stroke karting series, at Red Lodge Karting, Suffolk, on Saturday the 19th of October. www.club100.co.uk
3rd place: Karting vouchers for use at Red Lodge Karting Centre, Suffolk. www.redlodgekarting.com 

Drivers will be split in to 2 groups of 20. Each driver will receive a timed qualifying session of 4 laps, followed by 2x 10 lap Heat Races with Race 1's grid determined by qualifying, and Race 2's grid a reverse grid from Race 1. You will score points for your finishing places in these 2 races, with maximum points on offer from 1st place down. After the 2 groups ' heat races ' the top 20 points scorers from the 2 groups will qualify for the A Final, and the bottom 20 scorers will go in to the B Final . The finals are 10 laps and both Group A and Group B will receive top 3 trophies . Group A, the overall points scoring group, will be racing for trophies and the prizes in the top 3! The event will use the circuits fleet of Honda GX270CC corporate karts, capable of around 55mph!

20% of race entry proceeds are donated to the CF Trust, plus proceeds from food/refreshments. 100% of the BTCC Raffle Prize goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Tickets can be bought on the day for £5 or online by donating £5 on the event justgiving page www.justgiving.com/fundraising/cysticfibrosiskart with the comment BTCC. You will then be emailed your ticket number and a live draw will be made on the day via the event Facebook Page, Cystic Fibrosis Karting Grand Prix, you will also be notified by email if you have won.
