.Croeso / Welcome to the RIDE Cymru 2017 JustGiving page. Since 2012 our annual event has now raised over £31,000 for charity.

Leaving the Welsh border village of Holt in, north east Wales at 8-30am Thursday April 27th 2017 will be our 6th annual event. The 5 day perimeter of Wales charity ride out. All motorcyclists enter this event at their own expense raising sponsorship as a rule of entry, and will undertake the perimeter of Wales route from the village of Holt in a clockwise direction, riding for a minimum of 9hrs per day.  Motorcyclists can choose a single day section, or as many of the 5 days as they wish. Fit the event around your availability. Evening destinations will be Newport, Carmarthen, Aberystwyth & Holyhead. B&B or camping suggestions are shared with entrants.

From back lanes to pit lanes, entrants will ride in an organised 'drop off system' & be led around the outer perimeter lanes of Wales raising funds for charity. Enroute riders shall visit and partake in laps of the premier motor racing circuits of Wales. We thank Llandow, Pembrey & Anglesey Circuits for their continued support of our annual event.

RIDER ENTRY REQUIREMENT is to raise as much funds for charity as possible. We ask a day section sponsorship of a minimum £20. To join us for the full event we ask sponsorship of over £100, As soon as a riders sponsorships passes £20 they are welcome to join us on a day section & on raising over £100 they qualify for entry to our full event. Some riders have made an entry donation on the day, please email us if that's your intention. If you are here to sponsor a rider to help them meet and exceed their entry donation, PLEASE STATE THE FULL NAME OF THE RIDER YOU ARE SPONSORING. All riders sponsorship shall be added separately and special mention shall be made at the end of the event.

Any riders who go that extra mile and raise over £300 in a yearly event will become honorary RIDE Cymru VIP's, from past events these already include Jason Lewis x 5, Gene Sherlock x 2, Chris Morris x 2, Adam Philips, Dave Owen, Tim Eastwood, Chris Bentley, Mark Andrews, Paul Bellamy, Phil Dowdall, Chris Scotland, Harry Edwards, Mark Sidelmann, John Hutchinson,  Simon Taylor,  Andrew Talbot, Lee Edwards, Heather Millar, Paul Harper, Alexine Lewis, Karl James, Don MacInnes, and Paul & Karen Thompson.

To add to the fun, for a 3rd successive year RIDE Cymru will see us becoming 'Cymru Knievels' over the 5 day event. We ask all riders being involved on all 5 days to make an effort for our fun theme. We trust this will again help even more in continuing this as a fun event where none of us take ourselves too seriously and we help raise awareness of the event and assist the charity which we hope to support as much as possible.
