Story

Those that know me, I'm sure will agree, you'll not find me running a marathon, jumping out of a plane or completing tough mudder anytime soon. What I can do is bake and therefore for my birthday this year I'm taking part in the Alzheimer’s Society's Cupcake Day, via my small business Cakes by Lexie.

They and I believe a cupcake can change the world. Your donation will help thousands of people living with dementia and their families get the support, care and guidance that they need. £1 could bring someone living with dementia together with their local services through the Alzheimer's Society's online Dementia Directory. £20 could pay for 34 Dementia Guides, and £153 could support a Research Network Volunteer for three months.

The Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day they find a cure, they will continue to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Thank you for your support.
