We are thrilled to congratulate our very own Mike Zadoroznyj, who completed a death-defying skydive to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The Black Knights Parachute Centre flew Mike to a breath-taking 15,000ft, the highest skydive in the UK, where he dived for 60 seconds through the sky.
Mike said: “This was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. It’s funny because you can’t help but fear for your life that split second after you jump, even though you know you’re in the best, most professional hands possible.”
Based just 15 minutes from Lancaster, the British Parachute Association affiliated Black Knight Parachute Centre has been providing those who dare with accelerated freefall and static line courses for over 50 years.
Mike added: “I’d really like to thank my tandem instructor Mark for all his hard work in getting me trained, and also Levi who jumped with me to film the entire thing! Any money I can get raised for the Heart Foundation would be incredible, please, please donate!
