As many of you know first hand, the basin in our WC is Unique. So much so in fact, that I have long threatened to tell Tourist Information about it. I am quite convinced that people would pay good money to experience its LooUniqueness. Now finally, we have found a reason to spread the word about the extraordinary lavatorial experience we provide: Toilet Twinning. That is correct! Our toilet will soon be twinned with yet another loo abroad, and the funds will go towards better sanitation where toilets save lives.

Toilet Twinning, established 6 years ago as the fundraising arm of major international charity Tearfund, raises funds to enable poor communities to have clean water, a basic toilet and to learn about hygiene. Building toilets in schools enables children, particularly girls, to attend school in safety without fear of being bitten by snakes or assaulted.
