In June this year I will be taking part in the "Football to Amsterdam" 160 mile bike ride which is spread over 2 days. The first leg is a 80 mile ride from the London stadium and finishes at the port of Harwich. The second day is a 80 mile ride in the Netherlands which finishes in the Johan Cruijff arena in Amsterdam. 

The "Football" related theme is very important to me as in November 2021 a very good friend of mine passed away after battling against cancer for over 15 years. His name is Chris "Talbot" Allen and his love,passion and dedication to amateur football was incredible. Chris played football into his late 30's and then managed various teams well into his 60's. It will be a privilege to complete the bike ride in Chris's memory.
