PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK. 

I am doing this Skydive because I this will be the biggest challenge for me as I'm not a huge fan of heights. I have personally lost a friend to suicide and think this charity is one that has gone unheard of a little bit and if I can not only fundraise money for this charity but also raise awareness of the charity for people who are suffering then I will be proud of my challenge and can jump out of that plane knowing I have done myself proud!
