Olivia Mae Conway

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My beautiful little princess Olivia Mae Conway was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia in 2015. The only option for her was to have a bone marrow transplant through Anthony Nolan. We was very lucky as Olivia had 5 excellent matches from the register, on January 21st 2016 my little sweetheart had her bone marrow transplant which was donated by a wonderful young 22 year old girl from the UK. Thankfully the transplant worked and after 3 days Olivia no longer had her own bone marrow she now had this healthy one which was donated.
Olivia went from strength to strength and even shocked a lot of doctors how quickly she became well and how she battled on throughout her treatment. Anthony Nolan even shared her story.
Sadly in October 2016 Olivia complained of having problems with her bowel. She was taken into hospital and started to make a full recovery after nearly being in for 6 weeks. In November 2016 Olivia was planning on coming home for Christmas and was getting better. Sadly on Sunday 13th November 2016 she contracted sepsis and lost her battle and fight with the world. I am proud to say that I am her Mummy as she never gave up. I know she must have been to beautiful for this earth.
Those of you that know me, know I don’t do running. But this year I have decided to run a 5k colour rush race at Aintree in Olivia’s memory. I know it may not seem a lot a 5K but is is to me. We have already raised nearly £5000 as a family for different charities. So I wanted to give back something to Anthony Nolan who gave my daughter a second chance at life. I will forever be truly great full to you for everything.
Hope your proud of Mummy princess, next year it is a 10K. Miss you millions
