Story
Due to progressing so well- we have now extended are target to reach Moscow! Making the new total 3206km!...
Friends of Ted have got together and are aiming to run the distance of 2095km, which as a collective is the equivalent of Manchester to Saint-Petersburg in support of a trust close to our little pal Teds heart. We will be completing this task throughout May.
Ted is 5 years old and suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. Current times have proved further what a brave little lad he is and we want to do our part to help his charity of choice- Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
There is 23 of us taking part in this task and with the majority of us being novice runners, close to 100km each in 31 days will be a tough challenge. Please donate what you can to help this fantastic cause- it really will put a smile on Teds face.
We will update, as often as possible, each runners distances and our overall running total.
