Our Claremont Fan Court School community is aiming to raise over £1,000 for our local Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, Surrey. We want to support the wonderful hospice team who, as key workers, continue to provide vital compassionate care for patients during the coronavirus pandemic. As a result of the virus, the hospice has had to postpone or cancel many of their upcoming fundraising events so we want to do all we can to help!

*CAMPAIGN UPDATE* (11/05/2020)

We have been absolutely delighted with the response to our Claremont 4 Carers fundraising campaign and we congratulate every pupil who has got involved and successfully completed their 10 tasks for sponsorship. In two weeks, the Senior School more than tripled the original £1,000 target and we are incredibly grateful to all those who have donated (and continue to donate) so generously to this wonderful cause. We now hand over to our Pre-Prep and Nursery School who will continue the Claremont 4 Carers campaign with a ‘Great Claremont Fancy Dress Friday’ taking place on Friday 15 May 2020. In full fancy dress, children will seek sponsorship from family and friends to complete a series of 10 tasks all in support of the Princess Alice Hospice.

Suggested Pre-Prep and Nursery tasks include:

1. Do an exercise routine
2. Spot and name 10 different birds or animals in your garden
3. Count how many times your family wash their hands during charity day and donate 10p each time
4. Find 10 toys or books to give to charity
5. Do some weeding in the garden
6. Help a grown up to wash their car
7. Read a book or tell a story to someone you miss.
   
8. Count how many rainbows you see on your daily exercise and donate 10p for each
9. Complete a chore suggested by a grown up
10. Make a rainbow out of Lego, play dough, flowers or objects from your house and garden

* All activities which require leaving the home should be completed safely in line with social distancing.
