Story
10 week old, stray kitten, Inky was rescued by Cats Protection's Belfast Adoption Centre from the inside of a car engine where he had been cowering for shelter.
Inky was rushed to Cats Protection's vets for emergency treatment, where he was discovered to have a badly fractured front leg and singed ear tips from the heat of the car engine.
Sadly Inky's leg injury was too complicated to repair and he had to undergo leg amputation surgery. Inky's ears also had to be surgical resected to remove the damaged skin.
Despite all he has been through in his short life so far, Inky is such a brave little soldier and has purred his way through the whole ordeal. Inky is a really sweet natured little fellow and loves nothing more than a good fuss from Cats Protection's Care Care Assistants and volunteers.
Please help the Belfast Adoption Centre raise vital funds for Inky's emergency surgery and to contribute to his ongoing costs for rest and recuperation post surgery; until we can find him a loving and understanding forever home.
Any additional money raised on top of Inky's fundraising target will be used to help other cats and kittens in the Belfast Adoption Centre's care in similar situations.
Thank you for your much appreciated support! xx
