Ashley Casey is raising money for The Russ Devereux Headlight Project

24 hour fitness Extravaganza · 17 July 2021

Founded in memory of Russ Devereux, the Headlight Project aims to reduce the number of deaths by suicide in the Tees Valley through therapy of those bereaved by suicide, and preventative education and training.

Story

On 25th September, members of The Carver Group Team will be running/jogging/walking/cycling non stop for 24 hours on a treadmill/exercise bike based in our Duke Street, Darlington office. We hope to raise £500 to support the Headlight Project who provide much needed support for families who are tragically affected by suicide.

The Russ Devereux Headlight Project was founded in memory of Russell Devereux by his wife Catherine. Russ tragically died by suicide on 6 May 2018 age 41 leaving behind three young children. The aim of the project is to work with children, delivering emotional resilience programmes in schools. The Project also offers play therapy for children and one to one counselling for both children and adults and has a particular focus on helping families bereaved by suicide.
