My daddy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and vascular dementia in September 2016. My mummy and sister attended information sessions run by the Alzheimer's Foyle Society which were a great benefit to us. From this a representative from Alzheimer's Foyle came out to our home and explained to our family what daddy was going through and how we should deal with every day tasks. We cared for daddy in our family home with the help of carers but the training we received made this easier and natural to us right up until he passed away on 9th July 2017.  I hope other families get the training and support we were very grateful for 💜
