Story

I am going to be participating in the Scottish 10K on the 24th of September 2017 and the EMF 10K on the 26th of May 2018  in aid of MND Scotland (Motor Neurones Disease Scotland)

I have never been known as much as a runner. However, I am a committed individual who is going to train diligently and participate with all my might in the Scottish 10K for definite.

I am participating in this 10K for my Guidance teacher in my last school, Mr. Donald Grewar. My day would not be complete without visiting Mr. Grewar in his Gudiance Base. He was a keen runner himself and a man that was extremely strong physically and mentally this was due to his Marathon running that he done frequently. He was diagnosed with Motor Neurones Disease (MND) a muscle wasting illness in February 2015. Mr. G is the driving force behind me running the Scottish 10K. He will be at the back of my mind when the going gets tough. He will not be too far away at the back of my mind at the starting line and the finish line.

I would be lying if I said that running a 10K is easy. However, some sponsorship money from you would be beneficial to MND Scotland delivering their essential services and to myself as it will mean so much to me.

I will run this for you Mr.G and show you how much you mean to me.

Help me take us a step closer to finding a cure for this horrific and unjustifiable muscle wasting disease.
