Story
This year, our Centre Managers will be running a relay race between
all centres in the Business Cube portfolio with the goal of raising as much money
as we can for The Trussell Trust.
The Trussell Trust support a nationwide network of foodbanks
providing food for and supporting those living in poverty. In the UK more than 14 million people are
living in poverty – including 4.5 million children. Last year, The Trussell Trust provided more
than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis and more than half
a million of these went to children. No
one should be left hungry or destitute.
Illness, disability or the loss of a job can happen to any of us.
Starting at our Mayfair centre at 65 Curzon Street, the BC
girls will make their way through Russell Square (Bloomsbury), Worship Street
& Old Street (Shoreditch), Alie Street (Aldgate), Bevis Marks (City of
London), Clerkenwell Green and back to Mayfair – passing the baton (a Christmas
cracker) as they go.
To add some spice to the occasion, we’d like to add that any
donation made can include a comment from yourself with an estimate of how long
it will take the team to complete a full circuit (in hh/mm/ss). Whoever guesses closest to the final lap time
will win a luxury hamper.
For some guidance this route – according to Google maps –
would usually take 3 hours and 8 minutes to walk…
