Kate is a lifelong sailor and Graham is a long distance cyclist. In 2020 Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer and throughout the Covid pandemic had treatment which was thankfully successful. During chemotherapy she bought a new boat and dreamed of adventures. Now she is planning to sail round the UK but as Graham prefers cycling he is going to ride along the coast to keep an eye on her. Together they will be fundraising for Macmillan who provided the online support and practical help that got Kate and many others through their cancer treatment during the pandemic.
