My son John, aged now 15, was born with a congenital heart condition. He spent much of his early years in and out of hospital and survived largely due to the research enabled by the British Heart Foundation. Trekking in Peru to Machu Picchu this October is an opportunity for me to give something back and help the BHF continue their great work and save lives.
