In memory of Natalie Bark

St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Our vision is a world where dying with dignity, compassion and having choices is a fundamental part of a life.

Story

On 29th June 2019, the two of us will be attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours (with a little help from our driver Damian!). The total walking distance will be 23 miles, with a total ascent of 10,052 ft and a driving distance of 462 miles. So as you can imagine, this is going to be quite a challenge!!

We will be raising money in support of an amazing cause who, in recent months, provided Nat, Darren and the family with outstanding care and treatment. St Barnabas made sure that our last memories of Nat were full of respect, dignity and kindness, and we are ever grateful for that. We want other palliative patients, and their families, to experience the same care that we did and kindly ask you to donate in support of the hard work the Nurses and staff provide in our local community.

St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity and every year we support more than 9,000 people across Lincolnshire with a life limiting or terminal condition. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. We aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left.We are reliant on the financial support our community provides so that we can be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.
