Billy, our amazing dad/papa/great-papa suffered a life changing stroke in Dec 2018, since then he has been under the care of NHS Scotland at both the Royal Infirmary and Astley Ainsle rehabilitation unit. His left side was massively effected by the stroke, and he has lost the ability to walk and use his left arm completely,, changing every aspect of his daily life.

Since December, he has been recieving such fabulous care, from the nurses, doctors, physios, speech therapists, occupational therapists and many more - as well as lots of cuddles and love from his family :-) slowly but surely he is building up his movement again and regaining confidence to get better.

This is where CHSS have come into his life, they are a Scottish charity offering support and guidance for stroke sufferers and their families to allow the patient to live their best possible life following such physical and emotional changes. The team are going to be working very closely with Billy in the coming months/years as he adjusts back to ‘normal’ life, and make sure he is as active and happy as possible #NoLifeHalfLived.
