Story
BES are proud to be part of our local community and we are
committed in our support of Springhill Hospice in Rochdale.
This year, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the hospice, we are
taking part in their Corporate Challenge to turn a £30 loan into as much money as possible in just 2 months!
We will run a series of fundraising events across our company until the 31st October. We’ve selected the health and wellbeing as a theme for our events, which will include sports competitions, meditation classes, workshops, park runs and walks.
One of our key events will take place on Tuesday 1st October,
where BES team of 17 hikers will climb up the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon. Although, it’s going to be a real challenge for some of our less experienced walkers, especially in case of cold temperatures, rains and winds, the whole group is determined to conquer this 1,085 meter peak!

Springhill Hospice do a fantastic job for caring for adults
aged 18 and over with a life limiting illness. As well as caring for
in-patients they also provide respite care, pain and symptom control,
counselling for patients and family members, a day hospice for out-patients, hospice care in the home and bereavement advice.
All these services are provided free of charge and we are really keen to help them raise £3 million a year needed to keep the doors of the hospice open.
We will be updating this page regularly to report on our
progress and inform you about other events.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story! Your donations and support would be gratefully received.
