Story
Ben Devonshire was part of the Cambridgeshire Constabulary family and sadly died on 9th march 2017 of coronary heart failure. Ben also known as 'Beaney', 'Banjo', 'Benjy' or Max Branning was taken from us at the tender age of 45. He is a much loved and respected son, father, partner, brother, friend and colleague.
In his memory we are completing a bike ride in Peterborough in September 2017, one Ben actually completed himself with his brothers on some clapped out old bikes. The Green Wheel circular route around Peterborough is 45 miles long and this is the challenge we have set ourselves. For some this maybe a breeze but not for all of us. We will be making it fun with possibly the odd stop off for cider refreshment to cheers to Ben. As well as remembering our friend, we want to raise as much money to support the British Heart Foundation and all the work they do to research and hopefully prevent further untimely deaths as Ben's. SO PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY!!
