Pilgrims Hospice is a Charity incredibly close to my heart,  they provided exceptional care and support to my Mum who we sadly lost to pancreatic cancer in 2012. 

My Mum was one of the most caring, loving and compassionate people you could ever hope to meet, she was incredibly positive throughout her life and this didn't falter when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. 

From the early stages of her illness until her final days, Pilgrims Hospice supported her, shared her laughter, listened to her worries and gave her a safe space to explore her concerns and manage her symptoms. 

Pilgrims Hospice provided support to our family too, they were always available to discuss our worries and continued to offer support, with bereavement counselling, after my Mum had passed away. I cannot express how amazing this Charity is.

I now hope to raise funds for Pilgrims Hospice, in memory of my Mum, by shaving my head. I will donate my hair (which is half way down my back!) to a charity that makes wigs for children fighting cancer.
