We are Avenue House District Nursing team based in Chesterfield. 

Unfortunately recently one of our much loved patients passed away and this has had a real impact on the team. 

Together we decided to honour his memory by challenging ourselves to complete a walk to raise money for Edale Mountain Rescue- a team and charity very close to his heart because of the challenges he faced in his life it only seemed fitting to put ourselves through a challenge. 

Most of us are not experienced walkers in any way shape or form and are very likely to get lost so the team at Edale have agreed to accompany us just to save them a call out when we get inevitably get lost. 

Any donations are greatly received no matter how much. We just want to do our best and help an amazing and worthy cause.
