Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Due to covid19 and the restrictions of the national lockdown, my skydive has been moved to tgr 17th April. A big thank you to all who have donated so far and are supporting me.
I have set the page up to raise funds for a charity that is very close to my heart. I lost my mum just aged 49 to secondary breast cancer. My mum would of been 50 on 19th March and she didn't quite make it to her birthday which was one wish she hoped for 😔. The hospice was a big part of my mums final 3/4 years of her life. She went in many times for respite and spent her final weeks in the hospice before she peacefully passed away with her loved ones around her.
We had many discussions about me wanting to do a skydive for her and she always was against it as she was too worried about what could go wrong? Whats life without taking risks right?
On my 30th birthday 15th March 2020 my husband Ross gave me the voucher as a gift for the skydive. I shed tears it was an emotional moment, scared, anxious yet very excited and feels so real im finally able to do something iv wanted to do for a very long time.
So I have decided to do my sky dive on my mums anniversary of her death 7/2/2021 it will be 6 years to the day since I lost not only my mum but my best friend.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
All donations will be greatly appreciated by Saint Catherine's hospice and will help so many more families get the best possible care for their loved ones.
The skydive is all paid for so all monies raised will go to the hospice ❤
My skydive will be filmed throughout, im so excited to share this experience with you all, and I know my mum will be with me every fall of the way 🙈❤
