Story
Anne, our treasured mum, sister, aunt, godmother and friend suddenly passed away on 9th August 2022. She left us too soon and we are devastated about her passing. Mum was loved by many people and cared about everyone, friend or stranger. Up to the end of her life she was looking forward to the future and connecting with people she hadn't been able to see for a while. She was looking forward to so many occasions and it's hard to know she won't get to be there for them.
Mum put everyone's life before her own, and if she had seen and known how many people cared about her she would have been so touched and moved.
Charities for Domestic Abuse were one of the charities that mum supported. When it came to Christmas, instead of receiving presents from everyone, she would love it when people bought a meal for someone homeless, bought a gift package for someone in need or donated to charities advocating to help people in different ways. She became a counsellor and worked predominantly in schools to help people, children especially, overcome circumstances and be able to live their life as best as they could, being a source of comfort and a place to offer help to those who needed it.
Due to this we are appreciatively asking people for donations rather than flowers or gifts. We are hoping that people can come together digitally to support the love our mum gave everyone else, and help other families escape potentially the worst time of their life and move on to happier pastures. We know mum would have smiled and loved everyone coming together in her memory to support this.
Thank you for your support, generosity and most of all love. The love you have for mum and shared with us.
