We fund research and provide support to anyone affected by breast cancer.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in support of Breast Cancer Now.

In Autumn 2016, after a routine mammogram, I was given the news that I had the earliest stages of breast cancer in both breasts.  My breast cancer has now been treated and I am fully recovered, fit and well.

I would like to encourage all women to attend their routine mammogram to ensure any abnormalities can be detected as early as possible.

This time last year I couldn't even ride a bike properly.  I have since learnt to ride my road bike (in a fashion) and have completed a few cycling events in the lead up to the Prudential Ride London 100.  This will be the biggest sporting challenge I have faced.

1 in 8 women in the UK will get breast cancer at some point in their lifetime.

Please support this charity. Thank you.
