Story
I have had long hair for as long as I can remember, so shaving it all off feels like a very daunting task. It'll provide fantastic entertainment to those who know me well and it's a great opportunity to raise money for a really fantastic cause.
During this whole COVID-19 crisis, most of us are lucky enough to have a safe environment to stay at home and isolate, but not everyone has that privilege. Which is why it seems fitting to support a charity which works round the clock to offer young people a safe place to live.
Roundabout is Local charity that provides shelter and support to over 250 young people in Sheffield who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Any support you can give will go a long way to changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield; as well as supporting those who continue to make positive changes during this time.
I will also be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust, so when a child loses their hair to cancer, they can get a real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity.
The whole thing will be live-streamed from 6pm on the 23rd of April on Instagram and posted to Facebook shortly after - So mark it in you calendars and show some support!
