Throughout this year myself and my partner Kyle James will be running a series of running events to raise money for St Peter’s Hospice in memory of a truly incredible woman, my Mum.

Over the last 4 years Mum fought bravely against various forms of cancer, always smiling no matter what! Throughout countless rounds of chemo, surgery, radiotherapy and endless blood transfusions Mum showed incredible strength and was an utter inspiration to everyone around her! 

On February 22nd 2019 Mum lost her battle and passed away peacefully surrounded by Family at St Peter’s Hospice in Bristol. Words cannot explain how much I miss her on a daily basis but without St Peter’s Hospice we would not have been able to make   memories like we did during Mums final weeks which I and the whole family will cherish for the rest of our lives! The care that both Mum and the whole family received was amazing and cannot be faulted, we were even able to take Mums dog Poppy in to see her and have her favourite takeaway one evening! The hospice made Mums final weeks full of smiles and laughter and that is something I will be eternally grateful for! 

So, although Kyle and I are planning to do a number of events throughout the next coming months they will ultimately culminate in a main event on October 20th 2019! I will be running the Half Marathon and Kyle will be tackling his first Marathon in Amsterdam! 

All donations will go directly to St Peter’s Hospice in Brentry, Bristol to thank them for the impeccable care that they gave and all that they have done for Mum and the family. They are an unbelievable charity and deserve every single penny! 

In advance I would like to thank anybody that makes a donation to this phenomenal charity no matter how big or small! I will never be able to thank the Nurses and Staff of the hospice enough for everything they did for us so it’s my turn to give back, crack my trainers on and get my legs running!
