I have decided to take part in the English Half Marathon to try and raise some money for Kidney Research UK. 

Kidney research UK are dedicated to research into kidney disease and finding better treatment and ultimately a cure for this silent killer. 

I have chosen Kidney Research UK as those of you who know me well will know about my best friend Kelsey and the battles she's been through in recent years. Dialysis is quite often the only option for people with kidney disease and kidney failure. To try and put it into perspective, Kelsey was having to go to hospital for diaslysis 3 times a week, for approximately 6 hours each time which causes a massive disruption on day to day life. A handful of lucky people are given the life changing and life saving chance of a transplant, my Kels being one of them (all thanks to her amazing mum!). 

If any one would like to sponsor me for my Half Marathon your money will be used to help find better treatments/a cure for people in the same situation as my Kels.
