Story

After running the London Marathon in a Brain Costume it was hard to think of the next fundraising mission.

However, we have landed on the Night Polar Half Marathon in Tromso, Norway. With highs of -8, only 90 minutes of daylight and run under the northern lights.

January 5th 2025 - more details on the event here; https://worldsmarathons.com/marathon/polar-night-halfmarathon

We raised a fantastic £25,000, including GiftAid, thanks to our marathon efforts and would love to reach £30,000 with this latest feat.

This time joined by friends Mike, Freya and Craig.

A brain tumour took Jess' Mum on 22nd July 2024, only 2 years after diagnosis and this is a very familiar and common story. We are committed to helping as much as we can and ensuring that future families have more hope!

Still only 1% of government funding into cancer research goes to that of brain tumours despite its severity, being the largest cancer killer of people under 40.

Thanks so much for all your support so far!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
