I never in a million years thought I would run a marathon but last year, I took a leap and somehow built up the courage to apply and now here I am with a space in the London Marathon October 2022 where I will be running for the amazing British Heart Foundation! 

As many of you will know, this is a Charity very close to my heart, ever since I lost my Dad to a sudden Heart Attack when I was 16 years old. Since then, the British Heart Foundation has helped to halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, which is an amazing feat. Sadly however, there are still hundreds of people who lose their lives every day to conditions such as these, which means that it is just as important as ever that the BH get help from us to fund research into new treatments and discover new cures. To put it into perspective, just £24 could pay for two valuable hours of research by an early career scientist.
