Story

Me: 36 years old; fat; unfit; likes sitting down and eating cake.

The challenge: an 8 day/7 night trek up to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kili stands at a rather marvellous 5,895m (19,341ft) above sea level. Pretty sure that's not much bigger than Brill Hill. Totally doable for a cake lover!

You: anything you can do to help me raise my £5k goal.  Any financial support will be soooo welcome. But I certainly won't say no to any help with training either.

Why: because breast cancer is one of the biggest killers of woman in the UK, particularly those aged 35-49, not forgetting the many males lives it can also take, and in 2013 it took Beth from us.  So this is for her - something I think she would have liked to have done herself.

In support of: all monies raised will go to Breast Cancer Now, the charity we support in Beth's honour. Breast Cancer Now are making huge advances in breast cancer research and are working towards the goal that by 2050, no one dies from breast cancer.

Muchos thanks
