Story
We're hosting a raffle for one of the original seven Blanket of Hugs, lovingly handmade by members of the #crochetkind community.
The Blanket of Hugs project was the brainchild of crochet designer and blogger Kate Eastwood (@justpootling), who wanted to make a blanket for a young woman, Jenny, waging a long battle with cancer. The idea was to give her a blanket of love and support so she knew she wasn't alone. Kate designed three crochet squares and asked others to follow the patterns and donate what they'd made. In total, Kate received over 1,000 squares – enough for not one but seven beautiful blankets!
The first blanket was given to Jenny, and the rest are being auctioned off to raise money for charities close to Jenny's heart. We're fundraising for the Little Princess Trust, a UK-based charity that provides real hair wigs for children suffering with hair loss.
Everyone who makes a donation will qualify for a raffle ticket. If you'd like the chance to win the blanket please also answer the question and fill in your details at http://competition.immediate.co.uk/sc-blanket-raffle
The entry form will close on Wednesday 26th April 2017 at 11.59pm BST.
