I am doing a self-imposed running challenge! I'm calling it "The History Run"- West Coast (Bowness in Solway) to East Coast (Newcastle) on 2nd June this year along the National Trail which runs along Hadrian's Wall.

This is in aid of Dementia UK a fantastic Charity who support those suffering with dementia and their loved ones, in their own homes, via Admiral Nurses. I'm sure many of us either know someone with dementia or have had direct experience of caring for those affected by dementia. Dementia has such a devastating impact on the lives of sufferers and family and friends that any help, particularly expert help, is vital.
