Walk for Williams Syndrome · 21 May 2017

The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

Story

Harri was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at age one year.  Now at nearly four he was late starting to walk and still finds it very challenging and tiring due to his condition.

Harri wants people to know more about his condition because it means he can get more help and support from the NHS and others involved in looking after him and other people who share the condition.

Williams Syndrome happens completely randomly and only effects 1 in 18,000 people in the UK.

In Harri's case it means he has developmental difficulties, a heart condition and various other medical, sensory and sociability issues.

Please sponsor Harri on his walk for Williams Syndrome.
