Story
Everyone knows Ollie... He stands out because of his lovely long blonde hair, but there's a reason he decided to grow it...
Before lockdown No.1 in March 2020 Ollie was in Huddersfield town with his Mum (Nicki) and saw a young girl with no hair. Inquisitive as we all know he is, Ollie asked Nicki why the little girl (who was younger than him) was bald.
When Nicki explained everything, Ollie told her that he'd grow his hair so that a kid with cancer could have it; and there began the story behind his lovely long locks.
He's been waiting patiently for his hair to grow so that he could cut it off and donate it to Little Princess Trust; who will make it into a fabulous wig for a child with cancer. Each time he had his 'under-cut' done, he'd ask his hairdresser to measure his hair length to see if he was close to the 12" he needed to be able to donate.
Ollie is a 10 year old Rugby fanatic (a very talented one for his age too). This was his idea from the start and we're soooo proud of him.
On 15th December Huddersfield Giants club legend and very good personal friend Leroy Cudjoe will make the first cut into Ollie's hair (with a hairdresser VERY close by)!
All Ollie wants is to raise as much money as possible for Children with cancer this Christmas, and to donate his lovely blonde locks as he set out to do 18 months ago.
Please help him raise as much as he possibly can guys! For someone so young, this is just a phenomenally empathetic thing to do and we all love him for it...
