Hi.... Everyone 

My name is Keiran. I am 6 years of age. 

In may 2016 i was admitted to raigmore hospital with pain in my legs i was on my tip toes as that was the only way i felt comfortable walking.  Since then i had a number of blood tests taken every couple of weeks due to my CK level being extreamy high. The normal level for CK is 300 my first reading of the CK was 22 thousand, wich indicated there was something going on with my muscle's.   In august 2016 it was confirmed that i have either becker or duchenne muscular Dystrophy. I then went to aberdeen childrens hospital for a muscle biopsy in november 2016 to confirm what Muscular Dystrophy i have.  I have been diagnosed in January. 2017 with Becker muscular Dystrophy. Which is a slower process to duchenne muscular Dystrophy. 

My mum (natasha) is going to do a skydive on the 5th of august 2017 to help raise funds for Muscle Dystrophy UK.  Funds raised will help families who have these conditions.  This will help with medical equipment, research for  treatments to slow down the conditions and eventualy lead to a cure.

Please help me reach my goal for Muscle Dystrophy UK. I am terrified to do the dive but it is all for an amazing cause.  My son keiran is an inspiration to myself and others. He has the get up and go attatude.  He is such a happy boy with or without being in pain, has good and bad days. 

I hope we can help other families to improve their conditions and make their lives as comfortable  as possible.  I will also like to be  involved with  Muscle Dystrophy UK charity as much as i can.
