I am running to raise funds for Crohn’s and Colitis UK which is a national charity in the battle against Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We are fighting to achieve a better quality of life for the 300,000 people in the UK suffering physically and emotionally from these and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Ultimately, we want to find a cure.

I am also running because most of the people suffering from these conditions do so in silence and I would like to raise awareness and to help break down the stigma attached to bowel conditions in general and Stoma's in particular. I had a total colectomy in August 2015 which resulted in me having a stoma and a Colostomy bag for 16 months but there is a stigma attached to these things and there shouldn't be they save lives so please dig deep and support my crusade to help Crohn's and Colitis UK
