Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving Page.

On 27th October, 2014 my beautiful son Christopher, then aged six, sadly passed away.

Christopher was born with a heart rate and heart rhythm problem, caused by a rare gene mutation.

Throughout his life, he attended Yorkhill Childrens Hospital as an out patient - we, the Angus Family, have set up the Christopher Angus Fund with the Yorkhill Charity (now the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity), to raise funds on behalf of the cardiology unit at the new Royal Hospital for Children (RHC) in Glasgow.

I am taking part in two charity treks: in October 2016, a 75K trek along parts of the Great Wall of China, and in January 2017, a 100K trek in the Arctic.

All funds raised will go directly to the cardiology unit at the RHC, to support initiatives agreed as best serving children with heart conditions, and in support of their parents and families.

Christopher is dearly missed, he is so loved, my hope, my inspiration, and my guide.

Thank you,

Michael
