We exist to prevent and cure dementia

Story

Both my mother in law and father in law have Dimentia. But it's not them I'm raising for. The carers of victims also have their life destroyed by this disease as 24/7 care is needed and our social care system is unable to cope.

Our mental health should be front of mind as so much physical health is associated to it. I want to help support charities that are investing in mental illness, specifically Dimentia, and find a way to better to prevent, treat and care for people developing long effects of declining mental health.

Dementia is a cruel disease that destroys the hearts and souls of those effected but also those around them that care the most.

Our loved ones with the disease are isolated through an inability to communicate and are lost in their own minds until their bodies finally conceed defeat. Their primary careers (husbands, wives and children) lose their quality of life when dedicating themselves to help. It is physically and mentally draining with no light at the end of the tunnel.
