In 2019, we experienced the wonderful care and support given by the staff of St. Luke's Hospice, not only for our Dad, who was being cared for at home, but for us as a family.

During Dad's final months, we were privileged to have visits from St Luke's community nurses. Their medical, practical and emotional help was incredible and it was a great source of comfort and support, knowing that they were there for our Dad and also for us.

I now want to be able to give back a little, in appreciation for all that we have received from St. Luke's. To do this I hope to swim one mile on Tuesday October 19th at Hathersage open air pool.

Hopefully, St. Luke's Hospice and their amazing care will be around for many years to come, for the people of Sheffield.
