Hello Everyone

My name is Mary Foulkes, and I am fundraising  for Shelter by participating in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 9 October. I am also proud to work for this wonderful charity because Shelter's main purpose is to defend everyone's right to have a decent home and I would appreciate it you could make a donation and encourage your friends and family to do so as well. 

As a child growing up on a council estate, I  saw first-hand the damage caused by poor housing and the threat of eviction can have on a family where parents are forced to choose whether to put food on the table or pay the rent. No one should have to make this choice. It is one of the reasons I decided to work for Shelter.
