Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Last year at the age of 46 years my friend Martyn was diagnosed with a rare eye condition called Leber's Disease. Within 6 months Martyn had lost over 80% of his sight. The impact of this devastating inherited disorder has affected every part of Martyn's life. A much loved Dad and Grandad, a former pub landlord and a dedicated Leicester City Football supporter Martyn has had to overcome huge challenges to adapt his life and retain his independence. During this time Vista have played a vital role in supporting him and helping with his rehabilitation.

Martyn would now like to show his appreciation and raise some much needed funds for this vital charity. On 1st August he plans to walk from The King Power Stadium , home to Leicester City Football club, 100 miles to Wembley! He hopes to arrive  in time for the FA Community Shield Charity Cup 6 days later.
